Core: The Core Tier is designed for the entry-level, aspiring physician leader
or the physician who is interested in honing their business management
skills. This tier is an ideal fit for the physician currently serving
on advisory committees and task forces. The typical candidate is 3-4 years
post-medical school with 0-3 years of leadership experience.
Intermediate: The Intermediate Tier is designed for the mid-level physician leader
who is interested in advancing his or her career to upper-level physician
executive roles. Typically, the intermediate-level candidate will be 6-9
years post-medical school and currently working in a mid-level leadership
role such as a Chief of a service or Medical Director of a small to mid-size area.
Advanced: The Advanced Tier was created for the senior leader looking to further
solidify his or her leadership competencies and gain a deeper knowledge
of executive leadership. The typical candidate is a current Chief Medical
Officer, Clinical Institute Leader, Medical Director and others who plan
to move into a significant leadership role within the organization.
Career: The Career Tier is for the physician executive leader who is interested
in furthering his or her education with a graduate-level degree and executive
coaching to perfect their leadership skills. Candidates include Chief
Medical Officer, Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief Clinical Officer,
Chief Executive Officer and other executive-level roles.
